In this section I gladly take the opportunity to briefly introduce the person behind goedekopij.

My name is Kyra Goede*. I regard myself extremely fortunate with thirty-six rich years on a happy lifeline, twenty-nine years of love for languages and writing, fourteen years of professional writing experience, and since a few years a growing ambition in photography. All with the best support of a creative and loving husband and our two inspirational daughters.

goedekopij was born out of a strong feeling to follow the heart and fullfil dreams. The foundation is accompanied by another milestone. On July the 1st 2006, we exchanged our familiar environment in The Netherlands for an enriching life experience in the unknown. The colourful surroundings of Australia (Brisbane) now form the setting for my work as a freelancer.

* My surname Goede is part of the company name for a reason. The translation for 'kopij' is copy (as in copy writer), and 'goede' means good. goedekopij therefore stands for good quality copy writing, containing my personal signature.
